Light was a continuation of Portland, without as much of a destructive interest. For most of the series, I was interested in seeing how contrasting light colors with lighter colors with dark colors would affect the work. For this reason, I sometimes think of Light as the other side of the same coin as Portland, with each piece becoming a much more deliberate and thought out project but still experimenting with the resulting chaos.
