Ventures is me starting to break away from the “gridnik” style that has been a hallmark of my sans-serif work thus far. Instead of one set of rules that dominates the font’s visual style, Ventures is designed around several different guidelines that work together to create this look. I’m particularly proud of the “S,” which reflects the different styles coming together. It’s named in honor of the massively-underappreciated TV show The Venture Bros.
