Protovision is my love letter to the video game aesthetic of the 1980s. I designed Protovision in October 2015, searching for that blocky, pixel-based look that was the hallmark of that era. In order to stick to the rulebook I put together for the design, I got to mix upper and lower case characters which I enjoyed doing.
