Granite Modern was born in August and September of 2014. Designed as a clean typeface to contrast my first font, I wanted to make something that reflected a strict set of guidelines and kept all of the characters in line.

Since I published Granite Modern in 2014, it has become head and shoulders my most popular typeface, and has been featured in film, television, and on products large and small.

I remastered the font in October 2022, fixing numerous errors and irregularities that had been bothering me since it was first published. I present the corrected version as well as the original 2014 version (for posterity) here for free personal download or commercial license.
